Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi

A vast mausoleum begun in the late 14th century on the order of Amir Timur. Its dome is among the largest in Central Asia, and a two-tonne cauldron stands inside. Work stopped when Timur died: the southern facade remains unfinished.
